Competing among 4,500+ registrations and over 250 startup applications, SpeakPro successfully secured its place in the final round, demonstrating the strength of its vision and technological innovation.
The grand finale of the Bangladesh regional phase took place on August 14 at the International Conference Hall of Daffodil International University, organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department of Daffodil International University. This prestigious event brought together the country’s most promising startups to present their ideas before a distinguished audience of investors, industry leaders, and global stakeholders. The competition is powered globally by Pegasus Tech Ventures, offering startups the opportunity to compete for international recognition and a potential $1 million investment prize at the global stage in San Francisco.
Representing SpeakPro at the regional competition, S M Mahadi Hasan Mukut, Director & CTO of Adanalytica, along with Md. Nazmul Hasan, Director of Finance, delivered a compelling pitch that highlighted SpeakPro’s mission to revolutionize language learning through AI-driven technology. Their presentation focused on building an accessible, scalable, and intelligent platform designed to break language barriers and empower learners globally.
The event was attended by several prominent figures from both national and international arenas. Among them were William Reichert, Partner at Pegasus Tech Ventures, who represented the global investment perspective, and Mominul Islam, Chairman of Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC, who joined as the chief guest. The program also welcomed Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Family, as the guest of honor. Academic leadership was represented by Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, Vice Chancellor, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Pro Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University.
The competition was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges with deep expertise across investment, finance, academia, and entrepreneurship. The judging panel included international and national leaders such as William Reichert from Pegasus Tech Ventures, Md. Nazim Hasan Sattar, Deputy Managing Director of SME Foundation, Nowshad Mustafa, Director of SME Division at Bangladesh Bank, Shawkat Hossain, CEO of Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited, Professor Dr. Rafiuddin Ahmed of Dhaka University, Professor Dr. Rakibul Kabir of Daffodil International University, and Saeed Nasir, Managing Director of Exclusive Can Limited.
As a Top 10 finalist, SpeakPro has also received an invitation to attend the Grand Finale in San Francisco, USA, where leading startups from around the world will gather to pitch on a global stage, connect with top-tier investors, and explore international expansion opportunities. SpeakPro will also participate in the Grand Finale, where the company will be represented by its COO, Mobydur Rahaman, attending the event and engaging with global investors and industry leaders. In addition, the selected finalists will participate in exclusive networking sessions designed to foster collaboration and growth within the global startup ecosystem.
